Graphic Design

I’ve designed various print pieces, including flyers, postcards, and brochures, as well as t-shirt art. Click on each image below to view the full design.

Videos

I have worked on various video projects over the years. My role has included conceptualization, script writing, and/or production using programs such as iMovie, Adobe Premiere, and Toonly. View some of my work below.

I wrote the script/storyboard for this video and worked with our media specialist to bring it to life.

I created a basic storyboard and suggested clips for this video. Our media specialist then put it together.

Website Design

ELCO Education Foundation

The Eastern Lebanon County (ELCO) Education Foundation was in need of a fresh, new look for its website, and I had the honor of bringing it to life.

Using existing brand colors, I created a beautiful, mobile-responsive site to fit their needs. I also provided documentation for users who will manage the site going forward.

 Additional Web Redesign Experience

  • In my role at Lebanon Valley College, I oversaw our work with a web developer on a complete redesign of the college’s website. This included everything from assisting with the discovery process and updating a sitemap of thousands of pages (and consolidating/eliminating where possible) to cleaning up migrated content and testing functionality.

As webmaster, I am responsible for managing content on the site and collaborating across campus to keep content updated. I have created user manuals and conducted training on how to use the new WordPress website.

  • In an effort to make the study abroad program search process easier for our students, we decided to work with a web developer on a complete redesign of the study abroad program pages on the Rutgers Global website. The program search function, as well as the actual program pages, previously "lived" within our application management system. They were very limited in visual display and interactivity. With the help of a third-party web development team, I took charge of overseeing the design and creation of a new search and display feature.

The project began with an audit of the existing search feature and program display. We conducted student focus groups to determine what they were looking for regarding user experience. I worked to create an archive of all program content before beginning on rewrites and collecting better photos. I was the main contact for the web developer and met regularly with them to keep the project on track and to troubleshoot any issues along the way.

The creation of this new section of our Drupal site also allowed for pages to be tracked in Google Analytics, which was not available previously. The new program search and page design launched in September 2019 and received positive feedback from students, faculty, and staff on campus.

  • Rutgers University's bus system is the second-largest bus service in New Jersey, after NJ Transit. With thousands of students riding the buses each day, we saw a major marketing opportunity to reach a large population on campus and decided to create a full vinyl wrap design to cover one of the buses. For a project of this magnitude, a lot of pieces needed to come together.

    Financial

A project this large came with a large price tag that our budget alone would not allow for, so I worked with a colleague to pitch the project to one of our program providers. They agreed to split the cost. Stressing the several-year "life span" of this investment also helped in convincing all parties involved.

    Design

The design of bus wrap went through numerous iterations before final approval. I consulted with the designer from conceptualization to the final product, as well as the vendor to ensure the design was formatted properly for production. I also coordinated with university branding officials to get proper approvals.

    Installation

In addition to design coordination, I needed to work with the vendor, their installer, as well as the university's Transportation Services to arrange the proper installation space and schedule.

    Promotion

The bus was debuted on campus in January 2020 for the start of the spring semester. In order to attract the most attention for the new display, I created a social media contest using Instagram. The contest tasked students with capturing the bus on campus and posting about why they wanted to study abroad in hopes of winning a $1,000 scholarship. The campaign included a web page, social media posts, a flyer, and an email.
